This Milan Fashion Week I journeyed back to Italy for the Bottega Veneta show. It was such a special weekend with Bottega Veneta as they were celebrating 50 years of the brand and so they planned a jam-packed weekend for celebrating this landmark. So in honour of 50 years and another incredible trip to Milan I have decided to illustrate why Milan Fashion Week continues to be my favourite time of the year:
It is perfectly acceptable to wear a leather skirt and boots on your flight – Italians always look glamorous
The food at 10 Corso Como (and the whole of Milan) is a burata, bread, and pasta heaven!
The small shops have the most beautiful rare jewellery
Bottega Veneta give the best ever goodies
Going to the Bottega Veneta show dress in Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein
Acting like I was born to sit in the FROW
Seeing a Hadid walk in the Bottega Veneta show in the craziest biker jacket
More food. This time at Marchesi.
Then desert, because Italy
Wearing Maki Oh and carrying Charlotte Olympia for the evening
Chilling in the Bottega Veneta Flagship Store
Bottega Veneta Dinner at the Palazzo Parigi Milan – the spanking new Hotel in the heart of Milan
Spending my final day walking the streets covered in Saint Laurent stars
