6:30 AM. The clouds slowly part on top of Table Mountain. I had heard so much about this geological form. But nothing quite compares to when you’re sitting beneath it looking up in awe.
I really think this trip brought me closer to being one with my surroundings. From the white sand of Clifton Beach that we saw earlier this week to this post that shows the long yellow grass that lies beneath Table Mountain. I’ll never forget the sensation of my feet in soil and my hands sifting through the sand. And although I’m back in cement-enveloped London, I can’t wait to be amongst the South African landscape again.
