The Amsterdam Diaries: White Suiting

This post brings an end to the first ever JTO Takes Amsterdam series. If you missed the first post, you can see it (here)! This is a look I’m completely obsessed with. Rosie Assoulin is undoubtedly one of my favourite designers, and this cream, two-piece is a perfect example of why. I love when a  classic suit silhouette is given a 2017-appropriate twist. The v-shaped neckline and excessively flared trousers are my favourite quirks to this look that add a modern edge.

I love the minimalist approach of Dutch fashion, and I wanted to emulate this influence in the Amsterdam Series so I kept this look very simple by just adding my classic Mark Cross bag and statement earrings. For a suited-up look this summer I would recommended sticking with white, cream, and beige tones, simplicity tends to be better. But don’t be afraid to mix and match with vests, skirts, trousers, and blazer dresses. You’ll be surprised with how versatile this look is! I hope you enjoyed this JTO Takes Amsterdam post and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to the Netherlands.
