Any of you following me on snapchat (@jtofashion) would have seen the insanely beautiful wedding I went to a couple weeks back. I love weddings for several reasons. They are a celebration of love, commitment, and a gathering of close friends and family. My fashion advice for anyone attending a summer wedding over the next few months: avoid long sleeves and heavy fabrics, look for dresses with a bold colour or pattern, don’t be afraid to dress-up (weddings are supposed to be glam), and make sure you wear comfortable shoes so you can dance the night away!

Before I left London for the wedding festivities taking place at Blenheim Palace, I managed to sneak in an impromptu shoot. This Ermanno Scervino dress has officially fulfilled every princess/fairytale fantasy I had growing up. The dress code was “gowns and tuxedos” so I had the rare opportunity to wear a show-stopping evening dress, and trust me I wasn’t going to pass on the opportunity. I love the blush pink tones, the broach embellishment, and the way the dress accentuated my waist. With a fashion climate that tends to favour what’s “edgy”, sometimes it’s just nice to feel like the princess you are!
