Let’s Not Underestimate Utility

Wondering how to adopt utilitarian dressing but still keep it cute? How about a grey jumpsuit with some oversized vintage earrings. This jumpsuit is by one of my all-time favourite brands, Orange Culture, described by its founder Adebayo Oke-Lawal as “a movement”. Orange Culture manufactures every incredible collection in Lagos, Nigeria, from ethically-sourced fabrics made by local Nigerian fabric makers.

When it comes to jewellery, I’m immediately drawn to anything idiosyncratic. That’s why I was over the moon when I stumbled upon a one-of-a-kind, Chelsea-based, jewellery shop called Felt. To see some of Felt’s jewellery (click here) – you can find pieces ranging from £20 to over £2,000! If I’ve said this once, I’ve said it a million times, you literally cannot go wrong with a good jumpsuit. As long as the fit is right and you pair it with some killer accessories or jewellery, you’ll be good to go.
