A Fashion Carnival

For the second post of JTO Takes RIO we’re back in Rio’s Botanical Gardens. I was actually meant to shoot this look elsewhere but I just thought this setting was so stunning that I had to stay for one more look. I bought this Reclaimed Vintage dress on ASOS, and it proves that a party dress, even a rainbow coloured one, can be rocked during the day.  I really love how all the pink tones “pop” out amongst the green in these photos. I don’t usually wear stilettos during the day but there’s no reason why this look couldn’t be dressed down with a trusty pair of Stan Smith’s. But by no means is this strictly a day-time dress for some brave souls. This dress would also make a real impact on a night out. I’m not a fan of the classic block-coloured body con dress for a night out (yawn), so shift-dress with unique details and textures are my favourite!
