JTO Takes Accra: The Christie Brown Effect

To watch what I got up to during my trip to Ghana and the making of JTO Takes ACCRA click (here)!

Welcome to the second post of the series I shot during my recent trip to Ghana. If you missed the first post of JTO TAKES ACCRA you can see it (here). This dress is by the celebrated and incredibly cutting edge designer, Christie Brown, who I collaborated with whilst in Accra. Christie Brown is a Ghanaian brand with international acclaim, known for their flawless combinations of various silhouettes and fabrics in a way that is both romantic and edgy. In this post I’m wearing a dress from their Spring/Summer ’17 collection. I love the way this dress seamlessly incorporates sequins, netting, and wax prints. Christie Brown embodies what is truly invigorating about leading African fashion – beautifully made pieces that focus on both the shape and bold psychology of the contemporary woman.
